It’s very clear that Netflix made the decision to cancel Warrior Nun before they even released the 2nd season.
The viewing metrics and online engagement that they gained in the first month of the 2nd season alone is what you want from shows, and they got that despite burying it and giving it zero promotion.
This news felt like a gut punch because the show actually started thriving despite everything Netflix did to ensure it couldn’t thrive. It just comes down to the fact that they had their mind made up already, and there was clearly nothing that could be done.
I freaking hate Netflix’s quantity over quality model. They constantly churn out garbage and when something finally gains traction and develops a fandom where you can monetize something further with merchandise (of a product they freakin’ own might I add) they cancel it anyway?
I’m soooo tired. I’m done with them. Done. Fuck Netflix.
